Getting laid is not really "necessary", for a man or woman. Society has conditioned you to think so, and that you cannot survive without sex, but of course you can. I've been celibate for extended periods in life, despite the fact that I'm a highly sexual/passionate person. It's not always easy, but there are some benefits. And I know many men who have been also. So, this is just a personal choice - to treat sex as something purely physical and a recreational sport, or attach emotions and real intimacy to it. :)) Whatever works for you when it comes to sex, and online dating, is the strategy you should use.
