How true! Only assholes would say "Здравствуйте Шеннон!". When I was a schoolboy we were taught to start a letter with "Здравствуйте dear Шеннон!". Also Russian titles are not put in quotes. It's a very bad mistake. And no periods at the end are allowed. A title is not a sentence. Period is a punctuation mark.
