The number of interracial marriages is one of the main indicators of the level of segregation of society. I was shocked and appalled when I found out that only 1% of white americans are married to people of other races and this tiny percent includes all racial - african, asian and so on. Maybe even gay marriages are more common it the USA. I don't know. But what I know is very sad.
