Video of Hometown

It finally happened! Someone posted a video of my hometown on YouTube this week. :) The quality isn't great but maybe you'll enjoy it. Or at least like the REAL country music playing in the background. I don't know the name of the singer. Many fun memories flashing on the video, including the roller skating rink, bowling alley and water park I frequently visited as a child. And you will see a shot of "Emmanuel Baptist Church." This is the school I went to from 5th - 12th grade. The one that made me agnostic. The nice shots of the fields at the end are from the Manassas Battlefield. I'll have to do a post on it sometime.

One reader was kind enough to take the time to drive around and make a video of his hometown for me. Really interesting to see!

Lovely little town! Just dream place to live for me. Much more spacious as the similar size towns in UK, wider roads, not so many cars parked along all the roads. And your house isn't so small for UK standard: we couldn't even put a diner table into our kitchen Many here have no diner tables and have to eat on their laps. I admired your beautiful family and wish all of them the very best. My husband would be so happy to have the garage your Dad has - he loves his tools as well and can fix everything, too

Cute little town :)) and a historical place as far as I understood.
I wonder what people do for a living? I mean is there «real» local buseness, or some of them can get job not far from city?

I profess Christian religion Orthodox Church. but I in the childhood studied in an atheistic school.. so we have just the opposite happened

your city is the right size. seen live poryadochnym hard-working people. no one just up the street drunk not goes . everything is so clean.. America , especially provincial, beautiful country. good people.. respect that America. and the MegaCities I don't like. .you know.. well in school in you childhood priests explained the Babylon.. Babylon don't like.
