The funny thing is, no one asks me about my personal growth, or whether I've found my inner peace, or what do I think about current political situation. The only things that matter are where I work, do I have any children and are my parents ok. And I have to force myself to ask the same in return, it's kind of common courtesy, but it's hard because I don't really care.
Such conversations are totally not gender-specific.
