The author has a very interesting story and background, but you know I fully support same sex parenting and adoption. I have gay friends who are amazing parents, and don't believe their children are being damaged in any way growing up in such an environment. And I'm a non-believer, so God doesn't factor into any moral or ethical decisions I make in life. I do agree with the statement "open-mindedness taken to the extreme would become moral blindness." The most important factor in any family dynamic is unconditional love. It doesn't matter if it comes from two men, two women or a heterosexual couple. All people are products of their environments and a dysfunctional family usually breeds dysfunctional adults. The author had an unusual childhood and upbringing that's not typical of the gay relationships I know.
Btw, you can always send me interesting articles in my "Top Post" section. Other readers do this. I like it. I've never read this publication "American Thinker," but am happy to see you read English articles. :)
