I did not see any specially "hippie" chicks there...
At that time I looked like a hippie myself with a ponytail :)

What was strange to me is that a Russian disco party was held on the 1st ave...
All these Russian, Ukrainian, Jewish girls trying to look glamorous - it was much stranger than it will ever be in Moscow :)
