It is believed here that cartoons should be for children, they must lead them to adult life, teaching good examples of behaviour, e. g. to be kind, generous, friendly, helping, caring, and so on. At the end of soviet cartoons was a moral lesson, nothing political, that's why people still love them and it's quite common to show children only soviet cartoons when they are little.
