Russians eat at home because home-made food is more tasty than at average Russian cafe' with affordable prices, and really good restaurants are too expensive (and even in that case their food is not always good).
I like to mix Russian+Mediterranean food for breakfasts, for example, black (rye) Russian bread covered with tomatoes, cheese, red onion and Mediterranean herbs (basil, thyme, oregano) plus a little of mayonnaise :)
