Mornings, I do not have energy to brew coffee. I take a cup with two spoons of instant Nescafe. Never sugar nor milk. Then a grilled chicken breast size AA with instant Trader Joe rice. Occasionally mixed with the black beans.
The other day I heard on the NPR a discussion regarding commercial meals, how badly they are formulated: too much sugar and too much fat - these ingredients make food feel (what else do we need when eating?) more pleasant. This is why I prefer steaks for dinner. 20 minutes with a Hungarian spice rub, two minutes on a strong fire one side, flip, two more minutes, then low fire and turn over for 4 minutes, 3 minutes to mature - and enjoy.
You surely know that this expression "enjoy" is not English? I have another wonderful book "The Joy of Yinglish". Muah! It is full of Jewish jokes showing the penetration of Yiddish in the regular New-Yorkese.

Books, yes, I love to read them.
