Yes, but if look at a bigger picture you'll find out that your entire job is unnecessary.
You are a copyright lawyer.
Your job position exists only because the system of copyright exists which itself is not necessary.

From your earlier example.
A car manufacturer holds copyrights on many different brand of cars.
Instead of producing some universal cars like just "sedans" or "minivans" it has a lot of models under some "loud" names.
Then somebody decides to film a porn movie.
Instead of just honestly film their own wife or some other amateur he does something pervert and calls girls "cadillac" or something.
Then your job starts to protect the copyright or an auto maker.

So all of this chain is unnecessary :))

In Soviet Union we had, like, one or two models of smaller cars at any particular moment, one model of larger cars, one model or SUVs.

No copyright, no lawyers, no spending of human resources on unnecessary thing.
