I've seen buildings exactly like this in both Russia and America. They look the same to me, thought there might be slight differences in construction and size. I'm organizing photos on my new laptop, and had to look at the date the photo was snapped to see in which country this was taken. Even I could not tell! :)

In the Wild West, I've only visited Wyoming! Pure beauty and real cowboys and ranchers there. :) I really want to visit Montana sometime this year.

Even so near Sochi such old buildings have our standard "small" windows. Maybe because glass was expensive? I don't really know. Anyway we will know the truth soon ;)

действительно, скорее всего в США : большие окна, легкость постройки , ее пропорции, не свойственны русской необходимости строить "на века " изза климата.
А в теплой полосе России был бы другой строительный материал : плетень, штукатурка
