Yes, it's a double standard. Also, there's a fine line between flirtation and becoming sexually inappropriate. For instance, my tolerance level for sexual humor is very, very high. I don't know why, probably because I'm mostly surrounded by men all the time (at work and in my social circles), thus I'm not easily offended. However, some women have a lower threshold for tolerance. These are the ongoing dilemmas in gender relations...they have existed for centuries, and will never go away. :) But it's always considered worse by society if the aggressor is a man, and the victim a woman. When the victim is a man, the accusations aren't taken as seriously, even in America.
