I love Vyborg! :) Of course, I like train travel in Russia because it's unusual and a unique experience. In America, we also have trains, but I never take them. It's easier and more efficient to travel by car of plane. And, I'm not interested in studying behaviors of ordinary Americans on the train. I'm surrounded by them at all times, in all aspects of life. :) Part of the amusement of the Russian train is to study behaviors and customs of the natives. Your mother is a strong woman! Seven days on the train!!! I can't imagine it. Does she travel in platzkart of kupe??
