I don't know if you're the same person who wrote previous comment but I'll answer.
You don't have to be "happy" called Russian. But you, certainly, shouldn't be rude mentioning that this is somehow "offensive".
As for all this... well, all that you wrote - it's your point of view, it's your business. Good luck convincing all the other Tatars to think so.
