The best season...

How can you possibly dislike autumn? In the air, there are sweet and fragrant smells of pumpkin, cinnamon and the trees and foliage in Virginia are a complete feast for the eyes. Vibrant colors of gold, orange and red dancing with the cool breeze on hanging limbs. It's my favorite season, the most romantic and human of all. Autumn reminds me of the human spirit - constantly changing colors, shedding layers, and sometimes stripped completely bare, as the leaves and trees at the end of November, right before the winter season arrives.

"It's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst...And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain, and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life...You have no idea what I'm taking about, I'm sure. But don't worry, you will someday. Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world, I feel like I can't take it....
Or maybe the great American author Henry David Thoreau, who wrote:
"I would rather sit on a pumpkin alone, and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion."
While all sit and argue about Syria, while people send me messages asking why I don't discuss it here in my blog, I wish to focus on beauty. A topic that no longer draws attention or conversation on LiveJournal, unless of course you see "beauty" only in pumped up asses and lips. Then, I'm sure you're completely satisfied...

I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers. Have a nice weekend!
