Yes, it is right in the center of this University town - everything is close. The building is brand new, and there are still plenty of vacant apartments. A lot of Arabs mostly from UAE live here too. I think the climate is close to what they are used to. The amenities are almost the same as you described in your former apartment. We don't have indoor pool tho, but the outdoor pool is heated. And there's a good transportation system by American standards, of course. I like to live downtown and to be able to walk to most places. Also, one does not have to travel far, you just walk out the door. For example, we had an annual Festival of Arts in December with a huge fair right under our windows.
