In fact, it brought nothing at all for the pupils - 95% of them still have no knowledge of English (yes, some of them are talentless towards languages, but still). Anyway, who was asking the Georgian taxpayers by then? Or now, heh.
But for those who came to "teach" that was a nice stuff, for sure - you do nothing, locals rotate steadily around you and are ready to do anything to get your attention. Well, the negative side is that in most of the cases the "teachers" lived in dying villages or small cities full of alcoholics and local rednecks and there was no chances for normal entertainment except chatting with local women (if female) or drinking with local alcoholics, as well as listening to hypocrite toasts and horrible folk songs (if male).
