"Ours, the best!" - about Russian women

It's very strange for a foreigner to see this statement repeated over and over again in the Russian blogosphere. It's like some type of brainwashing or programming in the minds of men and women there - that "ours" are simply the best, most beautiful! Almost all of my friends are men, many from different countries, and I have not heard any other male make such a proclamation that "Italian women are the best!", "American women are the best!", "German women are the best!"...nope, only Russians say this.

I see another post today on this topic, but there is never a discussion of WHY. In all my travels there, I didn't notice any high ratio of beauties in comparison to other countries in which I've traveled. Of course, "beauty" - it's such a subjective term that it seems almost pointless to discuss the theme with the masses. But I really wonder - why are Russian women "the best"? For what reasons...enlighten me. :)

Russian women is certainly the best for Russian men because we have many things in common - an education, language, country. I've spoke to men which had traveled at EU or Tailand, so with all the stories they don't lost an interest for Russian women even being there, I think it tells a lot about.
My friend stands near me and I've just asked him your question, he tells that Russians are more beautiful for him...

This is a good and concrete answer - shared history, culture and education. :) But for me, it is very boring to be with men who are exactly like me. That's why I've always been attracted to foreigners, though cultural distinctions sometimes present challenges in romantic relations.

With all the possibilities it is impossible to find somebody like yourself. Trying to be with the total opposite is... strange. Maybe you are alone in a long perspective most of your life because of these romantic thoughts? When I was younger I was thinking opposite - new expirience and alcohol. I even thought to meet a black girl while was a student at the Moscow. Now I am thinking I am getting old and lazy to even think about...

I am single only by choice, because I have been comfortable in this state for a long time. Plus, I make no effort to search for men...these are the main reasons. :) But maybe now I'm open to a relationship, not sure. Let's wait and see who comes along...:)

Some readers think I'm very strange for being attracted to such people, but for me it is completely ordinary. :)
