Where is this house? If you guess the city, I'll send you a prize! I'll update the post and announce the answer on Monday at 10 p.m. Washington, DC time.

Is my Russian correct? Happy Sunday! :)

Could be a cabin, I'm not sure! :)

I stayed in the similar cabin in Connecticut about 15 years ago. It could be used only during summer time. We used small wood stove to stay warm at night.
One of my friends had similar cabin in Minnesota. It didn't have electricity or running water. Her family used it while hunting.

I love such places! My family rented a big cabin in the Smoky Mountains, Tennessee a few years ago, and it was so cozy. We went in both summer and winter time. Even had a big hot tub on the porch. :)

Wow!
Such cabin could be very expensive.
My manager owns a house in Tahoe. A little bit of the lake could be seen only from the upper floor. Luxury. Hot tub, also, was there.
She invited entire department (all girls) for three nights. We had great time.
She and her boyfriend bought this place in 2006 or 2007 for 1.5 million.

We only rented it for a week, and we had a lot of people so the price was affordable. To buy such a cabin is very expensive, and unfortunately out of our price range and budget.

I looked at the picture again and had a second thought about the woods. I saw such woods while living in NJ.
Here is my second guess.
Was this picture taken in NJ?

My husband just said that this cabin might be in Pensilvania.
Was he right?

No, it's not New Jersey or Pennsylvania. :)

Upstate NY?
