Well, many people consider NYC the best and most fabulous city in all of America! I think they're crazy, but almost all foreigners visit this madhouse. I also prefer Chicago. Much more laid back, and not nearly as crowded.

you have to see Chicago from the boat... travelling towards the lake.. then all the magnificence of tall buildings will be revealed... it's the same way, almost , how you discover the beauty of Saint Petersburg...

I've been on the Chicago River many times! But not in Peter, because I'm always there in winter and everything is frozen. :)

Chicago architects resolved the problem of sky and skyline so it doesn't overwhelm you...There is a breathing space and a harmony for a man in the city of highscrapers...

as for Leningrad... ... it's a simphony...
