Let me respectfully disagree. I use to live in Russia for many years. And I have a right to say that Russia is a pretty shitty country, with a lot of ignorant aggressive people. Yes, St.Peterbourg looks nice from the window of a coach bus. But if, Gog forbid, you find yourself in trouble there outside of the tourist area, do not expect anything good. I am not trying to scare you, I am just informing you in advance. When you in Russia, be aware of your surroundings.
