When you haven't lived with a man for a long time, you forget about their annoying habits. Now I live with not one, but TWO men! I have two male roommates and we share a bathroom. This creates household wars and horrors! The women in the house argue that the men should always put the toilet seat down after they pee. The men say "why!?!, just push it down when you need to sit!" What is the proper etiquette? :) Men, do you put the toilet seat down after you pee? I beg you to please do it if you share a bathroom with a woman. I can hardly describe the feeling of being half asleep, crawling out of a warm bed in the middle of the night, entering a dark bathroom and sitting down only to discover the toilet seat is up. Suddenly you fall into the bowl and your ass is splashed with cold water! Instant alarm clock! :)) It looks something like this....



Yes, this is a First World problem for sure, but a serious one. :) And there is another mystery of the universe. Why do even grown men sometimes miss the bowl and pee on the floor when they're standing up? Is that thing in your pants so difficult to control? :))

This is selffish. We also do not like to put the seat up. Also if you insist to put it down. It could be worst, men just pee with seat down. Now you have to deal with urine on the seat.

This is better than falling in the toilet bowl! :)) I constantly wipe pee from the floor from my roommates. It's really disgusting.

I think you shuld talk to them about urine on the floor. This is not hard to be precise. But are you sure this is not just water ?

No, it is not water. First, you can tell by the color and second pee on the floor leaves an odor, even if it is only a small amount.

Pee on the floor is disgusting. When I had a roommate that left drops on the floor, I just covered the surroundings with Kleenex.

I agree. My husband leaves the seat up and for me it is absolutely no problem to put it down. I don't understand the nature of this female frustration with the toilet seat. It looks really petty.

Oh, he's far from perfect!) And I do get angry sometimes, and he thinks that I have anger management issues, only reasons are different.
