Scenes from Montana

FullSizeRender (6)

There's nothing to write or say about these pictures. If I felt inspired, I would sit and create some poetic or dreamy lyrics to accompany them, but lately it seems almost no one reads such texts. And I'm lazy today, so I will just publish the photos to show you more of the scenic landscapes from Montana. This State is rarely visited by foreign tourists, as they are all gathered in New York City, Washington, DC, Miami, Las Vegas or San Francisco. These cities consistently rank as the most visited by foreign guests in the USA. It's a pity because I think there are so many more interesting, unique and beautiful places in America, including Montana. I hope you enjoy!

Which U.S. city or State do you want to visit? Maybe I've inspired some of you to think about Montana. :) Have a nice weekend!

Yeah, I've already read it. :)

One question.
In the post about exes, you wrote: "I'm friends with all of them". Is this a some kind of informal speech?

It is standard English, not informal. What confuses you about the sentence?

"I am friends..." - I (single) am friends (plural). My Russian mind wants to say: "We are friends...". :)

Friends is plural because I'm speaking about more than one ex-boyfriend, not just the man in the cover photo. :) "WE are friends"...to me this means that I'm referring to someone in addition to myself. For instance, if I had a husband and he was also friends with my exes, I would say "we are still friends." I'm referring to both my husband and myself. In my post, I'm referring only to MY relationship with the exes. That's why I used "I." Hopefully this makes sense. :)

Thank you! This thing is really strange for the Russian-speakings but I thnk I get it.
In Russian, we say "we" in all of these cases.

People will understand the point with either phrase. :)) So, it is no big deal. We are just dealing with nuances of semantics, which don't really change the overall essence of the sentence. Have a nice evening. :)
